Carroll County Springtime Fun

There are a lot of events going on in our community this Spring.

Over the weekend, there was an Egg-citing Bunny Trail and Egg Hunt at Wakefield Valley Park. There were age-appropriate egg hunts and a bunny petting zoo. The Cavy Club sponsored the petting zoo.

Another event is the Family Fun Fest which will be held on April 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Carroll County Community College. Some of the activities for this event will include:

  • Scavenger Hunt
  • Inflatables
  • Fire truck for kids to learn fire safety tips
  • Annual Supersonic Electronic Raffle
  • Storybook Times
  • Reading book trail
  • Tie dye station
  • Sidewalk chalk art 
  • Rock painting 
  • Face painting 
  • Parachute play 
  • Sunflower planting 
  • Fun with Bubbles 
  • Cars and ramps 
  • Build a community 

Another event is the Veteran Celebration of Carroll County. It is being held at Carroll County Farm Museum on May 7 from noon to 4 p.m. There will be live music, food, a veterans military exhibit, artisans, military equipment display, and craft vendors.  

These are just a couple of activities that you can do this Spring. Get out there and have some fun!
