Kaylin Rock is one of the seniors who has graduated and is now out in the real world. She graduated on May 31, 2023 after being a student at Gateway for a year. She has spent this time making new friends and making connections with all of the amazing teachers here.

“Most people at Gateway are very nice and easy to talk with,” Kaylin stated when talking about the friends she has made this year. 

She felt that the years went by too fast, and when she was in fifth grade, she remembered thinking, “Man, 2023 is so far away.”

While attending Gateway, she enjoyed the field trips and was the Griffin winner of the week twice.

The seniors graduated on May 31, 2023, and they got a personalized speech from a staff member of their choice; Mrs. Flagg wrote Kaylin’s speech this year.

Seniors received a Class of 2023 t-shirt and were also celebrated on their last day with Kona Ice.  All seniors will be missed, but I especially miss Kaylin Rock.
